Hold your horses! I'm sure you read the headline and thought, this guy is crazy! All over the news it's talking about the housing industry making a comeback and I'm talking about the home sales going down the toilet. North Oaks, MN is just like anywhere else in the US, let's dive a little deeper, shall we!
The Existing Homes Sales Report came out for this month and it noted that sales are down over 3% compared to last month. Uh oh! Don't worry!
What doesn't make the main stream media is that home sales across the country are up over 6% compared to last year! And distressed sales are down 11% compared to last year.
To me, this means we are that much closer to a very healthy real estate market. Remember folks, the main stream media loves to be dramatic and overwhelm us with manipulated stats! Take it all for a grain of salt until you get the true skinny.
