The SW Waterfront Neighborhood of DC is very unique in the amount of park space and common use areas in most, if not all, of the condo and coop complexes in the neighborhood.  It has an almost suburban feel, though just blocks from the Capitol Building.  It is rapidlly channging with a recently renovated Safeway and Metro station and soon to be revamped waterfront area, prices are gradually rising.  This neighborhood is still overlooked by many, disregarded as boring and out of the way.  It is however a very quiet and charming, waterfront community that has an amazing baseball stadium and a great deal of potential.  With prices rising more slowly than other neighborhoods in DC, there is still some very good value in the area.
