First and foremost Happy New Year!!!
Soooo....what are your plans for 2014? Interesting read on social media with many resolutions, plans, goals, and may I say...wishful thinking. I sincerely hope the best for everyone, however I'd like to see December 31st, 2014, and the I should have and could have, and I'll do it next year. There will be many planners but few doers, it is a numbers game so to speak.
Are you seeking to make a change? Why start January 1st of the New Year to make that change? My resolution is very simple, and I started over two months ago, "To read to my boys every night." I did not wait until the New Year to get it started, and it is to the point that my boys will remind me while they are preparing for their bedtime. Also take note of what you were doing last year, and how you have grown (hopefully you have) from last year; if no-one notices, or you have not made a friend or two along the way, you have not changed.
So what should we all be doing to make those changes we make? A very simple plan, keep a journal so you can review it every day, even if you have a task manager that is cloud based, write out your task list for the next day, and read it first thing in the morning. Write down your thoughts at the end of the day so you can review them throughout the year. This will keep you on track to make whatever adjustments you will need to make, and it is also a good way to see how you have changed throughout the year.
In closing....
