Where do garden gnomes go?

Ever wondered where garden gnomes, carefully selected and often loved, vanish to.

Live long enough and you will always get answers to life's intriguing questions?

After decades of vanishing gnomes - with one exception of one returning after a five year absence, suntanned and covered in travel stickers indicating world adventure, I had been at a loss to explain this common predicament.

A chance meeting with Fred Conlon's Sugarpost garden art answered my question. Gnomes being carted off all over...

War on Gnomes

Fred's art is described as "fun, funky and always unique". His display contains metal characters of all shapes and sizes "designed to rust and look better with age".

Sugarpost can be found at 80 W Truman Ave, Salt Lake City.

You can check out his beasties at www.sugarpost.com

Omg! That's a hoot.  I wonder if they steal the zombie garden gnomes, too,  or if they're afraid of them. lol

Rain - still a pile of mysteries to be solved satisfactorily.

Chris - zombie gnomes have not featured in my life, yet.

Roger - seems the art has toured many parts of the US, being well received wherever.

Wayne - and to you too.

Jill - thanks for missing me for a while. Was I really only lurking for that long?
