If you’re looking for a unique daytime activity with your family or an exciting date night in Utah that’s different than a movie and dinner, Park City provides activities that are far from typical.

For those interested in mixing a little mystery in with their history, Park City is the place to enjoy an autumn or winter’s evening learning more about the town’s spooky past. Every ski season, “Park City Ghost Tours” take nightly group gatherings on a tour of the town while sharing some of the most memorable ghost stories gathered over the years. Every night at 8 p.m., anyone who is interested can meet at “Miner’s Park” on 415 Main Street in downtown Park City where tour guides dressed in early 20th century attire will take the group on a historical walk filled with ghost stories gathered over the town’s 150 year history.

The ghost stories that will be told during each tour have been collected by the owners of “Park City Ghost Tours” after having thoroughly researched the town’s history and have been handpicked as being the most mysterious and interesting of the bunch. Those who believe in ghosts already will be sure to enjoy the efforts made by the tour guides who bring their paranormal tools on the tour and share each story with a dose of the dramatic. Non-believers will still enjoy a night visiting unknown spots and learning more about the town’s past, and after the night is through they just might believe in ghosts after all!

Tickets for the “Park City Ghost Tours” are $20 per adult and $10 for those 16 years of age and younger. Tourists are encouraged to dress comfortably and prepared for the weather. Catch a ghost tour any night of the week from June 15th through Halloween night.

If a ghost tour isn’t really you’re thing you can still learn about Park City’s history by taking a daytime tour of Park City’s historic Main Street with a “Park City Historic Tour” instead. Running Mondays-Saturdays at 2:00 pm, these tours begin at the Park City Museum from June 16th through August 30th as a perfect summer afternoon activity for those in the Park City area. The tour lasts a little over an hour, so again, guests are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and attire appropriate for the weather. Tickets are $5 per person though combination tickets for the Park City Museum and the Historic Walking tour can be purchased for $12 each.
