If you're planning a vacation to the Florida Keys, or if you're on permanent vacation and are already here, you know that sunglasses are a mandatory part of the wardrobe down here. It is sometimes difficult to decide what type to buy, so I'm going to save you some trouble. If you're trying to decide if polarized sunglasses are really worth the extra bucks-trust me, they are! It may seem silly, but polarized sunglasses changed my life! This is how I came to this realization:

I was out on a friend's boat and we all decided to stop at one of the random islands and have lunch. On further exploration of the island, we happened upon a pair of polarized sunglasses (a very popular brand), and we all took turns trying them on to see who they looked best on. When it was finally my turn, I placed the sunglasses on my face, and the world looked totally different. I could see details in the water that I had never seem before. It was like I had a super power, and it was vision!

I recommend polarized sunglasses for all those who aspire to be A+ fisher-people. It will totally change the way you see on the water!

They absolutely do! Especially when you're out lobstering-they help you find the coral heads! Thank you for the comment.

As a pilot, and being around the water polarized lens are the best way to go. After my eye surgery and later with cataracts removed with new lens, I no longer where contacts that I have worn since my teens. When I had my new glasses went with all the bells and whistles available. Expensive glasses, but comfortable, water spots and smudges don't show, with the high def lens it looks as if I am only looking through holes in my lens and when I go out in bright light the photo gray is a great touch. Interesting blog enjoyed adding my comments
