My brain must be fried. Why would I relate this article in the Washington Post to a 1970’s song?
America’s best-selling cars and trucks are built on lies: The rise of fake engine noise.
Wait--are they saying that the roaring cars that push past me on the highway and announce their superiority by roaring past me at 20 miles over the speed limit are really FAKING IT? Must be a guy thing and/or way beyond my pay grade.
And all I could think of was Captain and Tenille and "Muskrat Love." Which is NOT Mustang Love.
