Busy, busy, busy!

By
Real Estate Sales Representative with Jim Burke Realty

Anyone who tells you that the market is coming to a halt needs to take a walk in my weary shoes!  The truth of it all to remember is that all real estate is local and most of the news reports are national.  The truth is that homes that are priced right are still selling, and there are still many buyers out there looking to take advantage of the low interest rates while they are still available.  There is truth to the issues with our economy, but again, each market is unique.

On other issues than real estate, will spring ever arrive?!  I have homes listed that have the most phenomenal landscaping and I can't wait to see it come in.  My own yard has bits of green poking through here and there and I am very anxious for more signs of life!

Hi Laura - Welcome to the AR community and congrats on your first post.  I agree with you - media tends to be national or regional - real estate can be on those levels, but many sub-levels, too (including local and niche markets).  We need to educate our clients to this reality.  Spring is here in Lake Arrowhead and is beautiful.  Warmer weather is around the corner....

I too am starting to see the signs of spring pop up, more and more families looking to buy. It was a little depressing to hear the new say spring is hear and then get a week of snow showers a lot latter than we are used too. But, I'll live and as soon as summer is here, I know I'll complain about the heat!
