Hi Debra Peters , I bet there will be a great turnout for the parade as I have heard thatthere are a lot of Irish in the New York. I'm not sure if I'm Irish, or Scottish, as our ancesters lived along the boarder on both sides. I'll celebrate either way.

Debra, this is a nice shout out for the St. Patricks Day celebrations in Center Morchies on The Lanky Isle. Chicago has the largest celebration in our Mid West area.

Bruce Walter this happens to be one of the best parades in Suffolk County, along with the Rocky Point and Westhampton Beach parades. When does Chicago host their parade?

Debra, the Chicago St. Patrick's Day Parade is always on a Saturday, and this year it is on March 14th. Our community does not really have any formal or organized parades, although the bars certainly take advantage of the occasion!!!
