The Miami Beach evaluation committee is now reviewing plans submitted by Portman Holdings for the Miami Beach Convention Center headquarters hotel. The $405 million dollar project will have guests "feeling like they are floating above the convention center". The 800 room resort will feature several pools, a fitness center, spa and business center. A full- service restaurant and rooftop lounge are also included in the plan along with various landscaping changes.
