This is our new mud porch. You can see that we've reconfigured it a little bit. We have a new Carrara counter. We also created room for a stacker-style washer and dryer. We're going to put a cabinet over that for our modem and relevant electronics. We also added a French door and reused our fabulous old knobs.
Over the counter, we'll have storage cabinets with under-cabinet lighting. I'll be using this counter a lot when I'm entertaining. I like to use it as a staging area because it stays cool.
It's hard to believe that we used to have our refrigerator out here! It was so old-timey. Next to that, we had the "quarter bath", which was basically a toilet inside a closet. I'm glad we don't have to deal with that setup anymore.
