I'm getting ready for anyone who wants to stop by to trick or treat with Lane Realty on Halloween. We've got buckets and buckets of candy and decorations all about. As the week progresses I will be adding a few more decorations. Today I added more candy which will make the guys at my office happy.
I don't try to go overboard scary, I try to make it fun. I have lots of little ones stopping by on Halloween. We also keep a stash of nut free candy for those who have allergies. We also have some little trinket things that are not candy at all for parents who don't wish for your children to be given candy. We even have a little something for the grown ups.
Friday and Saturday we'll be carving our jack-o-lanterns to add to the decorations. Tomorrow I will start with the home baked Halloween goodies. I haven't decided which ones to make first yet? But I hope they will last until the kids get here on Saturday.
In the second photo the salt lamp stays year round, but I still leave it out for Halloween. It's looks just a little bit spooky too. And although the blue light burns at my office as a sign of standing with police officers and respect for the ones who die in the line of duty I think it will look pretty cool after dark on Halloween too.
One of the favorite decorations I have always make toddlers laugh. It's a ghost that sings, to tune of "Jailhouse Rock" only it's "haunted house rock". So I thought I'd share. I would have liked to have shared the whole song, but the little fella just danced himself right off the table. So the video is cut just a bit short. Hard to hold the camera and catch the ghost all all at the same time.
