Wild and Crazy Week Winds Down
It seems that everyone is crazy busy right now, us included. I guess it's the nature of the digital world. All of the technology, second by second, instant communication seems to increase the pace of the day to the tune of cramming in more and more "stuff".
The changes to the new office are finally finished. It's been a longer process than we anticipated. New pine plank paneling on the walls with new trims and new doors that have lites in the them to let light into the back offices, etc just took time. Our carpenter is a very talented and skilled young man. He made sure everything fit and looks good. Pics as soon as I find them!
Just transferring mail, internet service, etc seems to take more time and effort than should be necessary. Somehow the digital age often increases time and effort to get things accomplished. Trying to convince the internet people that it will be 118 SE Avenue N and not 116 took more than one trip. The address "in their computer" was 116 for previous service at that location and the person handling the change could not figure out how to change the address in their sysem. There are many times when I wish that old paper forms were more the normal for certain tasks.
We are partially moved. The new office furniture has been delivered... well... almost. They delivered the wrong conference table but they are coming back next week so hopefully that will get straightened out.
We've had closings that took days to complete, roofers waiting on the rain to end so they can roof another building, parking lot repairs, cattle to feed, aging parents that need us, etc etc.. I'm sure that all of you have very full crazy days too.. life is full. Life is Good. More on some of these projects later when I find the SD Card with my pics on it. I don't know if it's at the new office or the one that we are moving from!
