Keyless New Year's Eve - Stay Safe with AAA

With the advent of rideshares and taxi-alternatives, it is now more popular than ever to navigate New Year's Eve as a passenger.

The state-mandated blood-alcohol content limit is .08, which based on your height and size is easily met with only 1 or 2 drinks. Worrying about whether you can legally drive home or not does not sound like an ideal way to ring in the New Year.

Thankfully, AAA has once again agreed to be a resource for Northern California residents (non-members and members alike) to stay safe and legal on the roads Dec 31.

For those headed into downtown Sacramento or other major metropolitan areas, download Lyft or Uber straight to your phone. With their 5 star rating system, you're sure to get great customer service every time.

Happy News Years!

DeeDee ... it's the smart thing to do and prevents so many senseless lives from being lost.  I won't be on the road this evening ... I'll be enjoying a quiet evening at home.
