Welcome to my Blog! After three long months of being away from Real Estate, I have made my return. With the market in a downward trend, I was able to take some time to address some health issues. Thankfully all is well now, and I am back in the flow of things. During my time away from the every day activities of a Real Estate Agent, I was able to see the market through the eyes of a consumer. If I were to believe everything the news media spits out, I would have a doom and gloom attitude about Real estate. Not only in Florida, but, nation wide. But I don’t. Yes, we have had downward trend in all areas of the market, as well as an increase in inventory. However, what a lot of people were failing to talk about was that this is an ideal time to buy!!! The only reporting that sticks out to everyone is that there are a high number of foreclosures. There are plenty of homes to choose from. The biggest issue to the stalemate is that most sellers are refusing to lower their price. Some of them don’t have the "wiggle room”. The others are a little bit stubborn, but can afford to wait for the right offer. This is all the more reason to have a well trained , and experienced negotiator working for you.
