Opening tomorrow night at Kennedy Center, the American Ballet Theater is presenting Sleeping Beauty, a favorite fairy tale about a beautiful princess whose parents pissed off an evil fairy.
This familiar story is what every imaginative little girl dreams of, being awakened from a very sound sleep (100 years in this case) by a kiss from a handsome and very lovable prince, is being performed at Kennedy Center tomorrow at 7:00 and through the rest of the week, by the American Ballet Theater.
With Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky lush score and Alexei Ratmansky's new staging, this production is a perfect way to warm up after a daunting weekend of, well, Snow White!
