Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort 2900 acre ski park is the largest ski resort in North Idaho. Located in the Selkirk Mountains in the panhandle of Idaho, only 60 miles south of the Canadian border. Schweitzer Mountain Resort is about 11 miles northwest of the town of Sandpoint Idaho.

With 2,900 acres of skiable terrain, 2,400 vertical feet, 92 designated runs and three terrain parks, Schweitzer has what it takes to keep experts, beginners and everyone in between entertained. The only thing better than the skiing are the views of the breathtaking Lake Pend Oreille.
Schweitzer villiage has a day lodge, restaurants and pubs and two ski shops offering snowboard and ski rentals. There is twilight skiing from 3-7 and if you don't fell like driving there is a shuttle available to take you up the mountain.
