Coming up on the 100 Year Anniversary of The 1916 Irish Rising !

This article really touched my heart & soul as I came of age in 1960's Dublin & the youngest son of a wonderful mother who had roots going back to the 1916 Rebellion, the civil war of 1922 & to her hero, Michael Collins - she was always a rebel at heart & imbued me with her spirit!
Why I’ll proudly celebrate the 1916 centenary of the Irish Rising in Dublin in April 2016!
