Sometimes its hard to Generate enthusiasm for getting new ideas. And in today's ever changing world, we need to be constantly looking for new ways to perform, make a difference around us, and just be motivated. These steps help me through this challenge:
- Get connected with your own passion and energy for your ideas - What motivates you?
- Help people envision the positive results - how things will be better when an idea is implemented. Vision?
- Don't get bogged down in details until an idea has had time to germinate. Examine it with others.
- Tap into the shared values and goals of your colleagues and organization - speak to these connections, make them come alive.
