I have long been a fan of Corinne Guest, Managing Broker . She has had great success with online marketing and really has a handle on how to attract buyers and sellers. For those who don't follow Corinne, you may want to add her to your favorites.
Corinne and I have talked several times on the phone. These conversations always end up being long. She is eager to share her expertise. I originally grew up in the Barrington, IL area, her target market. I still have family there and have often said I'd love to get together. Well, I was able to do just that last week.
My schedule cleared for the weekend when an out-of-town buyer needed to reschedule his visit. My nephew was graduating high school and my brother was having a big party. I decided to attend the event but knew a visit to Corinne was in order.
I contacted her late Thursday afternoon and asked if she had the ability to meet with me on Friday evening. She was able to accommodate so we arranged to meet at Panera.
I was driving into Chicago from Tennessee and the drive proved to be longer than anticipated. Road construction seemed to cover the entire state of Indiana. Ugh!!
Corinne patiently waited for me to reach Panera. I'm so glad she did. We had a wonderful time talking.
She is a Wordpress wizard and really knows how to create and use her site to attract business. Just click the photo above to be taken to her website. Just a subtle reminder, we should never copy another agent's content word for word. Corinne has worked hundreds, if not thousands, of hours on her website. Use it as an example of what can be done but don't copy it verbatim.
If I ever add a Wordpress site to my arsenal, I will follow Corinne's example. She is proof that buyers and sellers hunger for information. Information they aren't getting from other sources.
Our visit was too short. I could spend hours with this wonderful lady. I realized later that I hadn't gotten a photo of the two of us. Shame on me.
