The Austi Texas Metro is still an expanding area. It is estimated that a net gain of about 50+- every day. New home construction has been lagging compared to demand since 2011. This has placed a premium on homes for the last 5 years. The closer into the "city" the higher the demand is to be sure. Many people are pushed to the suburbs due to affordability and choice. New construction around the area provides a variety of choices, more availability and less competition since the builder likely has several homes in t2759he pipeline.
