Homes sales for Oxnard Single Family Homes were down by three in August, 2016 compared to August, 2015 with regards to the number of homes sold.

Oxnard is named for the Oxnard brothers who established the American Beet Sugar Company between 1887 and 1889. Oxnard is located along the the Pacific Ocean coastline and is the most populous city in Ventura County.

Inventory of Oxnard Single Family Homes is still low, which puts pressure on housing prices to rise, however, price appreciation is somewhat constrained due to overall affordability.

It is also important to point out that the lower price range of Oxnard Homes is very competitive.

If one is looking to purchase in this particular price range, one needs to be fully pre-approved and ready to go as homes in this attractive price range often get multiple offers or a good offer within days that is accepted by the seller.
