The Haunted Post Parade is an opportunity for ActiveRain bloggers to enter their Halloween themed posts in a contest to win points and prizes for their seasonally inspired contributions. Everyone is invited to vote for their favorites by "liking" them.
The posts with the most likes for each category will win special treats and points. But it doesn't end there, on Oct. 31st. The Haunted Masquerade and Costume Ball buries the week in a flurry of fun with a virtual costume party and Halloween hangout here at ActiveRain.
There will be Halloween themed videos, music, tricks and treats with lots of scARy fun to enjoy while you wait for trickster treaters to assault your domicile and take your candy.

BLOGGERS CHOICE- Post your Do-It-Yourself Halloween Trick to entertain the neighborhood OR Post a Home-made Treat, be it baked, raked, boiled or brewed. We want your yummy mummy magic recipes prepared in a post!
Tuesday's Post Contest Rules:
Post must include 4 photos, one photo of your trick or treat complete along with your lovely face to grace your palatable post. Don't forget to include the complete instructions or recipe in your post.

Just about every neighborhood has one, that over the top Halloween Haunted House, you know the one with the styrofoam tombstones and couldrons of dry-ice, sorry your house doesn't count! Show us how your neighborhood celebrates the spookist day of the year!

Post your Virtual Halloween Costume:
DEAD-line: MONDAY Oct. 31th
It's that time once again to "dress up" your Active Rain Profile Pic in a fun or frightening costume that reflects a darker or lighter side of your personality with a Halloween themed post to describe your choice of why or what inspired your virtual Halloween Costume.
Monday's Post Contest Rules:
You need a personal costumed profile pic and a 300 word post describing your inspiration for your costume. The AR member with the most Halloween post parade posts and likes for all posts combined will win the Grand Prize(to be announced). Entries must be received by 12:00PM Midnight All Hallows Eve, lest you turn into a pumpkin. Voting will be continuously open for all post parade posts until Nov. 2nd.
