What would you do if a Foreign Country Invaded America?

Living in America as an American Citizen, what would you do if America was invaded by a Foreign County? Dial 911? "Please" ...
There are so many Americans that just don't have a clue as to what would happen if hundreds of thousands of ground troops were dropped by parachutes over the United States!

Do you really think dialing 911 is going to help you? ;o/

Sure we have the National Guard, we have law enforcement and other sources protecting us. But we the people of this country need to be able to defend ourselves and families if there was a invasion from a foreign country.

This is one of the reasons that our forefathers created the Second Amendment ...

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

If the United States of America was invaded by a Foreign Country, what would you do?

Please don't think for a moment it could never happen!

And never say never ...

I think Second Amendment was never meant to be against invaders. It is against the governement, not a foreign country, but your own government.

And as for for resisting the invaders, you can use a basebal bat with the same level of success. :)

I do agree that the second Amendment may have been written protecting ourselves against the government, and also for protecting ourselves if there was to be a foreign invasion.

And I'm afraid the baseball bat against men with guns in their hands wouldn't work very well, VB is going to pass on that note

Modern weapon is very far from guns either, and guns are no protection of invasion. Look at Aleppo, they have better guns and they do not stand a chance. In todays war/invasion you do not see the enemy, you do not have a chance to use a gun. If you see the enemy, it means the war has been already lost :)

Hello Hannah and yes they did, but I am talking more about planes dropping hundreds of thousands of soldiers in parachutes (ground troops) over the country

Vegas Bob, we have a plan for what we'd do if we were invaded and I sadly do think it could happen. I also have thoughts of a revolution within our own country. It's a scary time and I am thankful for the right to bear arms. I hope I never have to use our guns for anything other than target practice but, I will if I have too.

Well I certainly hope with all the Trillions spent on defense the the actual U.S. military will be in a better position to repell invaders than even the most heavily armed private citizen would be.
