Active Westfield Listings
Garden State MLS reports a total of 13 active Westfield area luxury homes. Of these, eight are brand new construction. Five homes hit the market in the past 30 days. They include the Henry West Colonial located at 905 Coolidge. This beautiful home sits just steps from the award-winning Washington Elementary School. Westfield Listings Under Contract
The Garden State MLS also reported four Westfield luxury homes currently under contract. One of these, a center hall Colonial, spent just four days on the market before going to contract. Three of the homes were recently constructed. One property, 7 Amy Dr, a Gialluisi Custom Homes designed residence, sits on a quiet cul-de-sac.
Recently Sold Westfield Homes
Finally, eight Westfield area luxury homes sold recently. All of these homes were built in the last year or so. One property sold right at list price. Another, a beautiful Colonial, sold for $1,364,125, which was more than $84,000 above asking.
What We Learned from the Early December 2016 Westfield Area Market Report
To start, new construction in the Westfield area real estate market continues to thrive. Of the luxury homes on the market, most have been built within the last year or so. Talk of possible interest rate increases in the next few weeks has come up. Finally, with a new administration coming into office in January, housing prices could also see an increase.
