Importance of Cooling Down after a Workout

Once you are done with your workout routine it is important that you allow your body to gradually cool down for approximately 10 minutes.

You can keep moving after a sweaty run by jogging or just walking around.  Whatever you do, do not stop suddenly.  Keep your body moving to redistribute the blood to prevent muscle stiffness.
