It really, really, sucks....
Yes I stated that....imagine you are an outdoors type of person and you are laid up in bed, and you can only lift the remote or something similar in weight. Now imagine if you were to be like that for the remainder of your life...or worse, not on this side of the ground.
Sometimes we all need a stark reminder of "WHY" we do what we do...and "WHAT" makes us steer off course.
Yes...a wake up call....hopefully not one that will be a physical or mental inconvenience, maybe in the words or deeds from another that we can grasp very quickly and take an immediate course of action. Maybe one of you reading this just may have the need to read this TODAY....and it is delivered just in time.
Although I am recovering as expected and all is well, I know that I do not want to ever place my family into a position of having naught...and in the big scheme of things, I do what I do so they will be positioned in life to do well; even in my absence when the day comes.
Some may think this is morbid but this is the reality that we face every day in life. Our days are numbered, and what we do from the time our heartbeats to the time it stills is our choice. We can rise or we can sink...either path we choose is correct to the way we think...
I was recently told "You have to take the crap deals in order to succeed." Do we really? As a firm believer in staying positive and distancing myself from "drama de otras personas" I have to disagree...again, another "WHY." Why sink if you have the power to soar?
So what have I learned? Quite a bit when the mind is the Devil's playground, but, he sat at the children's table while I feasted with the adults and expanded my mind with great reading.
Continue to be O-U-T-S-T-A-N-D-I-N-G and Carpe Diem!!!
