WAITING UPON THE LORD...Fran's Friday Forum...!!!

THEY THAT WAIT upon The Lord shall renew their strength...they shall mount up with wings as eagles...

 

Scripture offers this promise...BUT...

 

WAITING IS NOT EASY...especially if you are a typical AMERICAN MALE...!!!

 

Recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, my vision has been somewhat impaired so that I have been finding it difficult and sometimes challenging to perform simple tasks such as reading, driving, distinguishing people and objects clearly, etc.

Even as I write this post I am experiencing difficulty seeing what I’m typing...SO...

Suffice it to say...I am cutting this post short so I can begin WAITING UPON THE LORD///LORD, GIVE ME PATIENCE...BUT NOT YET...!!!

 

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND PATIENTLY AND STEADFASTLY WAITING UPON THE LORD...!!!

Fran, I have never known a catholic who knows the scriptures like you do. I grew up a catholic but the scriptures were really not relevant that much in our small church or diocese.

I have grown to love scripture...God's Word...At first I studied it like a reference book, but now I let It speak to me by reading a few chapters a day...!!!

I too was raised Catholic, and I left the church for about 14 years...Scripture actually helped me to rediscover my faith and gain a real appreciation for it.

Now, I help those wishing to become Catholic learn about the church through a relationship with Christ...It's Head...!!!

I consider all who believe in Jesus brothers and sisters and members of His Church, but it pains me to see such divisions among Christians, as it must pain Our Lord...!!!
