Well it's time once again for the big race week here in Concord NC at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Folks from all walks of life are camping in tents, RV's, and pop ups to enjoy the atmosphere and family fun of our race festivities. This weekend is the All Star race and next weekend is the big 600 race.
For those coming to town over the next week or so, plan carefully. To stay out of traffic, avoid Speedway Boulevard at Exit 49 as well as Morehead Road between Highway 29 and 49. If you're in Concord going to Harrisburg, try the Pitts School Road route. I used this one four times today and found it relatively smooth and quick.
If you've never been to a race, you have to experience it at least once. There is much more to it than a bunch of guys turning left. Millions of dollars are spent and made in this industry. Many of the organizations are family oriented with quality values and a respectful and honorable attitude toward others.
