2017 Report Profile of Home Staging
The National Association of Realtors has released its latest report highlighting current research and statistics for home staging in 2017. The entire report can be read in its entirety on the NAR site listed below.
According to the report, the most important rooms to stage are the Living Room, Master Bedroom, and Kitchen.
Seventy Seven Percent of Buyers Agents said that home staging
made it easier for the buyer to visualize the property as a future home".
In conclusion. If you can only stage a few rooms, make sure that they are the most important ones, i.e., Living Room, Master Bedroom and the Kitchen. Outdoor spaces were very important but not in the top three. Least important rooms were Guest Bedrooms and other spaces.
