Wind That is the word of the day here. At first this morning I was thinking well this will be a good day to work out side, Wrong. The wind picked up with gusto and before I became a kite I decided to come back inside.
While not the winds biggest fan I must admit that it is giving me lots to think about and do. I really am not a fan of the wind, but there are some good points, I managed to get some work done that I had been putting off. The thing that really gets me about the wind is Fire Danger. We are so dry here. Really dry. It would not take much to start a large fire.
Another concern with the wind I do not want to be a human kite! I know I am small, tiny, dainty, what have you but still when a good gust can make me feel like I am flying I am done! I am not going out the door with out a pocketful of rocks!!! Or a cinderblock tied to my waist! It is ridiculous looking but hey I am in no mood to go find a wizard (red shoes are not my style).
Plus, wind seems to effect more that what people see. I have witnessed the wind make animals do strange things. It does take it out of all creatures. When working in it I feel drained and more irritable and drained. I really am not the winds biggest fan.
Sorry just had to vent since I have to go back out in the wind better load the pockets back up!
