The Alameda’s Farmer’s Market is open to the public Saturday, August 18, and Tuesday, August 21 mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine. All the fruits and vegetables are available at great prices. So good! Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits, vegetables, and flowers. The market is on Haight Avenue at Webster Street and is open rain or shine.
Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid food trucks will be at South Shore on Saturday, August 18, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot in front of Petco.
Crab Cove for Family Nature Fun Hour for “Squid Dissection” on Saturday, August 18 and Sunday, August 19, at 2:00 pm then see what is going on at the Visitor’s Center. Crab Cove is located at 1252 McKay Avenue. Please call 510-544-3187 for more information.
Alameda Recreation and Parks Department Reunion and Fundraiser on Saturday, August 18 at 5:00 pm. All welcome whose lives have been enriched by ARPD. No host bar, free drinks for wearing vintage ARPD garb. Catered Mexican dinner for $25.00 at the Alameda Elks Lodge, 2255 Santa Clara Avenue.
