Caring for those around us has always been a huge part of my life. Taking a few extra moments to say hello and smile as one moves around the community we call Texoma.
We moved to Texoma when I was 12 years old.... in the heat of a Texas Summer.
My grandmother always said bloom where you are planted at Laura. She was right on target with this statement. Bloom and make a difference is the place God Plants you even if you are unsure of the great big WHY ... of it all.
As I grew up and learned this statement in real life.. Graduated high school with my Cosmetology license and headed into working in a Hair Salon right away.
Service with a smile really does make a difference as well as learning to listen.
Back in the day when Rollers and hair dryers were in style...... and you had regular clients come in every week at the same day and time.... Loved it really did made so many friends....
Spent several years in the Hair Salon business from 1982 to 2001 .... Then life took a new turn and Real Estate became the next adventure of life.....
In 2001 took a few classes and then guess what passed the Real Estate Exam with flying colors..... Yahoo right oh ya it was interesting to say the least.
Back in the day you had to find a Broker to sponsor you before you could take the Real Estate exam... Dan Robertson was my first Broker we are still friends and he gives me encouragement all the time.
In 2003 received my Brokers license and opened my own office in 2008... Have not looked back since.
Thankful for the support of my family and friends as the adventures of life keep moving us forward.
Real Estate is alot like the Hair Salon .... Listen to what your client is saying to you... Really care about them... Make friends for a lifetime..
Bloom where you are planted smile and say hello it really is worth it.
