We've got as new member fo the family as of a few days ago. Micki Bird (named by my four year old son, Roman) has joined our household and she's blending in just fine. She was born on April 9th to a nice family in Camarillo. She had 8 brothers and sisters, but seems to be enjoying her new adopted sisters Kinzie (our 10 year old Jack Russel) and Sylvie (our 2 year old Lab) just fine. Of course she's getting the royal treatment of sleeping in bed with us and being served warm meals and getting tons of attention. I think I better figure out how to get her sleeping in her own bed before she gets too much bigger!

Too late! She will think she has the right to sleep in your bed forever now. (LOL) I think the best you can do is try to get her to start sleeping with your son in his bed rather than yours.
