Searching for the perfect Door County property just got more challenging
Oh, 2020.......just when I thought you had given me every surprise that I truly didn't want, you've also created some ripples in the Door County real estate industry.......
2019 was a great year in Door County real estate, and a personal best for me. All bets were off for what the year would bring, real estate-wise, because I knew inventory was going to be limited. But I certainly never expected THIS. We spent February through late May doing a LOT of virtual showing, and homes, condominium, businesses and land just kept selling......and prices just kept rising.....
Prices have continued to rise as our inventory continues to shrink. Many of our properties have had multiple offers and have gone under contract over the asking price. It's usually easier for me to tell my prospects what is NOT available rather than what IS available. So let me start by telling you what is currently available in our hot, hot market (as of the date of this writing):
