This company was a large part of my parents business, they supply the steak sandwich meat, ham, beef roast, pork roast and so much more to the restaurant at least 3 times a week from 1960 to till my parent sold in 1994. I can remember even running out there is we were running short of cheese steak meat and Mickey would always open up on a Sunday for my Mom.
Mickey only lived a block away and I would always buy Pennsylvania Dutch hex signs and even sleep skins for my car seats back then. I still have to hex signs up in my garage. Tradition
I had a cheese steak party in Denver 4 years ago and place a order from them for the meat and got the Rolls (so important from the same bakery my dad (and Pat's) got them from. It was a great park and I have had request to do another party like that.
Of course when ever I go back there I would also get Pennsylvania Dutch Ring Bologna from Peters Brothers.
Will miss you Peters Brothers after being open for over 80 years.
