My most embarrassing moment

With a tip of the hat to Mierla Monte for her blog, "Go hide under a rock", I would like to submit this, as my most embarrassing moment.

Many years ago, before most of you reading this were on this planet, I was an intern at a hospital that specialized in Artificial Insemination for infertile women.

The protocol was to collect a semen specimen in a test tube. The doctors that had patients that were undergoing this procedure would be looking at the physical characteristics of the donor, and try to match them up with the husband.

I collected the specimen, and placed it in my intern's jacket along with many other objects. I went to the Doctor's office, and left them my specimen. When I returned to the hospital, I heard my name being paged over the hospital's PA system, with the message to call the number which was the office of the doctor where I had left the specimen.

When I called the office, the secretary asked me what she should do with the pencil flashlight that I had left there. I looked in my jacket pocket, and guess what I found? THE SPECIMEN TEST TUBE.

Please let me know, if there is anybody that you know to be out there, might look like me, and could be the result of all my efforts.  ONLY KIDDING about the last, as the rest is true

Too funny, I think we all have been thereat some point.  I know one day I get a call from a call center and the guy barely spoke english.  I politely told him no I was not interested.  Next, same company calls me same accent and I just exploded telling them to take me off of their list.  I told them no I was not interested.

I slammed down the phone and stormed out of my office.  My assistant was at my door, they were calling for a VOE for a former employee of mine.  They called back I made someone else take the call
