We live in a time where everyone wants more for less. This is I assume good for many things but to think that this works for Inspectors is NOT TRUE!
I have used Realtors in the past and even willing to pay a higher % to sell my property because I was sure it meant things would happen. I have paid more for certain mechanics to work on my auto because I knew they were trustworthy and knowledgeable which in turn saved me trouble and money. Sometimes it's worth every penny to pay more. WHY? Because then you may really get what you paid for, service, dependability, knowledge, professionalism and more than anything else satisfaction in knowing it was performed RIGHT!
Home Inspectors are not all created equal! EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, DEPENDABILITY, and PROFESSIONALISM IS IMPORTANT! SO... make sure you get the best because your client deserves it, they did get you!
I wish every person would realize the time, effort and hard work it takes to do a "Home Inspection" properly. Next time think about this.........to get the best sometimes you have to pay more".
