While Short Sales often have attractive listing prices, I find many cleints end up dissapointed and frustrated with the length of time before getting a response to their offer. Many short sales end up coming off the market due to the lenders offering loss mitigation alternatives to the sellers, or denial of offers until the home goes into foreclosure. Buyers see the pricing of these short sales and are of course willing to put an offer in, and sometimes we get lucky! I find that my clients are prepared for any frustrations and understand the need for patience when they are knowledgable about the process of short sales.
