One afternoon my teenagers and I were on our way to the market. My youngest, Kate, began telling me that she was learning about Darwin in school and asked me if I could clarify Darwinism for her. My older daughter, Chloe, said that she had not studied Darwinism and piped in with questions about it as well.
I explained that Darwinism was the theory that the most important traits of a species survive and the least important fade away. I explained further that sometimes that theory is expanded so that an entire species can become extinct if they no longer fit into their environment. We continued discussing evolution until we got to the market.
When we got to the market, my daughter Chloe could not get out of the car because her second toe was stuck under a car seat. LOLOL......sure reinforced our conversation. Talk about Darwinsim at work!
