Friday night my Broker, Mike Brown and our significant others met at the office. Yes that's right on a Friday night!!! When I walked in Mike had a huge hammer and he slammed it into the wall that had separated his office and mine!! Well what do you think I did??!! I grabbed hold and pulled the door frame off!! In the middle of this I was faxing over an acceptance on a sales agreement, trying to enter a new listing in the MLS while answering a question about closing for a client of mine on the cell.
Why, you might ask, would you be tearing down walls on a Friday night, well because we are growing so fast we just need the room! We had been so busy in the last two weeks we haven't stopped. So on Wednesday afternoon we had been going nonstop I looked at him and said, "I could use a nap", in his supportive manner he looked at me and said "no time for a nap today, maybe tomorrow, but most likely not then either"!
Today spent several hours with a new listing taking pictures etc and had an open house!! Can anyone remember when we looked forward to the weekends for the time off, now we look forward to it because we love what we do for a living.
That brings me back to my Broker. He has so much passion about real estate and helping our clients that he brings the same feelings out in the folks who work with him. But you know what, I am still waiting for my NAP!
