New parking where there was none

By

My home is in the historic area of Saint Charles Missouri and there is literally no parking. We back to an alley. The big news is we were able to add a 2 car driveway along side the little brick garage next to a huge old oak tree. I got to pull my big black truck with the chicken logos on the side in my new parking spot today. Who would have imagined what not parking on the street was like.

I LOVE IT! Just wanted to share my good news and to let you know my truck is parked happily in its new spot.

That's funny! I am from Missouri, now whenever I'm in your area I will look for the chicken truck!

the things we take for granted, my driveway is about 2 acres where ever you want.  As for chickens, I have about 100 of them living next door in their little blue barrel homes.  Rooster fighting is illegal but planting barrels and having roosters live in them is not.  we live just out side of town and get to hear all the good sounds, the train whistle blowing through the intersection, the HS marching band at 6 am.  The car races 2 miles away on a clear night, the crickets, the dogs and of course our feathered neighbor friends.  Would not trade it for anything.  Glad to hear you are off the street-  cheryl willis
