REO customer service

By
Real Estate Agent with Blue Tide Realty

After doing a good job and being a good REO agent you get a reward for faithful service to the bank...They give you more and more REO's.  You reach a point where you have to come up with a system to handle 10-20-30-600 listings at once.  You Can't! Customer service went downhill on listing assigned REO number 10.  The chances that you can do the weekly inspections as required by most Asset managers would take you 12 hours and 340 miles. Around the time you had to hire an assistant you noticed that your workload doubled due to training and turnover.  Before you know it, you have this written on all your listings:

MongoFax all offers, after you are pre-approved from the guy who gives me front row baseball seats, and buy's me lunch 3 times a week.  Don't call ever.  Counters will come in the form of my assistant asking for Best and Final offers (verbally).  You will be notified that I double ended the deal with-in 15 days. Be sure to turn off all lights, even though the power isn't on, and leave a card on top of the rat droppings. Thanks for showing.

Your idea of a good time is leaving your Blackberry at home, although this will cause you to think of all the things you forgot to do today.  Vacations are a thing of the past.

And here I thought our local REO King just didn't like me anymore....
