I went home today during my lunch break and thought, Wow! What a market! What a time to be a realtor. So many people are in the doom and gloom of the market that they have forgotten there are some wonderful programs out there for our buyers who want to buy a home. We have the USDA Loan that does not require Private Mortgage Insurance, nor does VA Loans. We have FHA loans with Seller Assistant programs.
If I were a buyer today, I would be getting pre-approved and buy a home. Interest rates are low, housing is low. We need to really jump start this economy by reminding these buyers to get pre approved and buy a home. It is the real estate market that will keep the economy going.
Many of my peers say, well what if there is no money? I have great news, there is today! So, lets not worry about what we can not change and do something with what we have.
It is my hope as Realtors we will go out and protect our buyers, show them what's avaiable, led them in the right direction and make things happen for both the Sellers and the Buyers. This is a historical time in our market place and it will be up to us to make things happen and keep our economy a float.
Do your part, buy a home! Better yet, become an investor and buy more then one home.
