Raleigh Home Inspection 27613 - home inspector finds gas vent problem

By
Home Inspector with Clear Choice Home Inspections, Inc

Inspected a 1980's home today and found the usual items and one a little more exciting.  This Raleigh home inspection revealed a corroded and partially disconnected flue pipe from the gas water heater.  The water heater was located in the interior of the home.  The exhaust by-products could enter the home - potentially creating a dangerous situation.  The buyer was very happy that I discovered this during his home inspection.  For additional information, please visit www.clearchoicehi.com.

Geez.

Well, at least the home owners now know why they couldn't think straight and had a lot of nausea.

Even I would have found that one.

What's the matter with people?

Wow! Good thing they found it. I have a video about home inspections of boilers on my YouTube channel. You can check it out here. Hopefully this helps some homeowners keep their houses safe!
