I replied to Beau Ferguson's blog on Leapfish last week, saying I may check them out.
That was then. This is now. I am no longer curious.
Before I had a chance to check Leapfish out, I got another call. "No Thanks."
And another call, "No Thanks, and please take me off your list."
Leapfish, "Sure, no problem."
And an email.
And another call, with another promise to take me off the list...
And another call, where I had to hang up on the kid, who tried to tell me that I need to respect the Leapfish business model which is apparently based on abusive telemarketing. I don't usually hang up on people, but he seemed to REALLY want to hear that "Click," and "If you want to make a call..." Who am I to deny a young feller the simple pleasures in life when they are so easily delivered?
And another call today, which after the typical exchange of bon mots led to, "Have you considered doing business with Leapfish?"
Me: "I think it is safe to say that your business practice of harassing me regularly from a line with Caller ID Block after promises to cease has effectively persuaded me that I will most likely NEVER do business with Leapfish."
"oh?"
Me: "Well, if I desperately need a kidney transplant, and you have a good match, I might consider it."
It's a shame. Suzanne seemed like an earnest and articulate high-energy person. I hope she soon gets hooked up with an outfit with a little more common sense...
