I hear it everyday. "Is it a bad time to buy?" There is no simple answer because each persons financial circumstances are unique but I will try to give you an over view of why it might be a good time to buy. If you are a first time home buyer and you have good credit and some money to put down, now is a good time to buy. A person looking to invest in property, now is a good time to buy. Many properties are priced below market value. Interest rates are still good and there are still banks giving loans. If you want further information on how to get qualified for a loan, credit information or are interested in buying a property give me a call at (805) 610-4314.
Lisa, I vote yes it's a great time to buy a house, it is also a great time to buy duplexes, and it is a so-so time to buy vacant land...
The if part is so true Lisa. If they have good credit and a substantial amount of money down to afford their payments on a home they like.
Hi Lisa - Good insight to home buying. Even though it's a buyer's market in many locations, it might not be the right time for everyone to buy.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm still fairly new to AR. Almost everything I know about blogging I learned from Larry Brewer at Keller Williams in Franklin, TN. He has been teaching a blogging class at our office. He blogs about each class with helpful links to the material. Visit Larry Brewer's blog here. I learned a lot in a short period of time including adding photos and video to a post.
Wishing you much success in your business!
Personally I think it is a Great Time to buy if you can afford to. In my market prices are low, first time I have seen prices go down. I am starting to see indications of certain areas starting a rebound. If you are a Move-up buyer, Investor, or First time buyer, I don't know if there will EVER be a better time.
I agree, I see banks and sellers holing steady with their prices. I've also seen in my area homes going for above asking price. I'm very hopeful of a new beginning.
