Okay... you want to buy a home real cheap, fix it up & then sell it for a profit right? Right!

I bought this book recently (if you're with Keller Williams you get emails once a week telling you how great the book is!!). Actually, the first part is a little boring and pedantic but, once you get to about half-way, when they start discussing how to decide what upgrades to do to a house to ensure you don't lose your shirt... that's when it actually becomes very interesting.

It resonates so clearly with me right now as I'm working with someone here in The Woodlands that would have done his project quite differently if he had read this first. And saved/made himself quite a bit more money!

I'm not even done reading it yet but I can already see how just this one chapter contains incredibly good advice. I'm looking forward to finishing it... don't get too much chance to sit around and read so it will probably take a few weeks!!

It IS a good bok and it has to start at the beginning so that's probably why you found it boring and pedantic. I found a lot in this book and I'm happy to say that my copy is autographed by both authors.

I have heard about this book, but I have not read it. I make more money flipping property than I do selling real estate. It helps to be handy and a licensed contractor.

The last time I heard anyone use the term 'pedantic' - it was George on Seinfeld.  Now i'm laughing internally as i think back to that episode!!!

All,

Thanks for the good feedback. I hope you'll look us up when you next get to Austin. If you are interested, we're having a 3-day conference on flipping houses at the end of June (21-23) at the Austin Four Seasons Hotel. If you are interested, email me and I will give you a coupon that will help pay for your travel expenses.

Again, thanks for spreading the word about our book!

Sincerely,

Rick Villani, Co-Author, FLIP
