Agents, do not let your buyers skip the home inspection.

You and your broker can get sued.

Most brokers (in Virginia) require buyers to sign a waiver stating they have counseled to the benefits of a home inspection and that they are waiving the home inspection (to avoid a lawsuit later on down the road).

Does anyone have any horror stories with buyers blaming the agent for the lack of a home inspection?
