Tired of the "Me Monster" Salesman?

You know what I'm talking about. That salesman(Real Estate Agent, used car, computer, appliance) who really isn't interested in you or what you need AT ALL.  Unfortunately the industry seems to be overpopulated with these self-absorbed creatures that I like to call the "Me Monster Salesman". Take a look at this video and see what famous comedian, Brian Regan, has to say about these "Me Monsters".

Cracks me up. It's very funny the way Brian puts it but it's no fun at all when you are dealing with the "Me Monster Salesman". When you are trying to buy your first or next house you should always be represented by somebody who has YOUR best interest at heart. Not someone that's just using you to get their next paycheck.

While I can't do anything about the plethora of annoying salespeople out there, I can promise you that I and the rest of the What If? Great post and soooo true. Most agents care less about more than a commission check. Most not all. Keep this frame of mind!

Brian Regan is a very talented comedian I haven't seen his stand-up in a few years.  Forgot about how funny he is.  You hit the nail right on the head when you're dealing with a customer keeping their needs in mind is what gets you a paycheck not the other way around.

I too have noticed a plethora of this type of sales people.  I like your attitude and the best way to combat this image is to be the exact opposite by putting the customer first.
